Former Himachal Pradesh chief minister Prem Kumar Dhumal today criticised the Congress-led UPA government for failure on all fronts, including foreign policy.

Taking a strong view of repeated intrusions into Indian territory by China, Dhumal asked the Union government to take tough posture against China and ensure that there was no further violation of Indian air space.

The UPA government's foreign policy is highly flawed and in spite of provocations and repeated violation of the Line of Actual Control (LAC) by China, the response of Indian government is inadequate and doesn't inspire confidence, he told reporters here.

The government is taking these violations and intrusions lightly, knowing fully knowing well that China has already captured huge Indian territory and is also aiding Pakistan, he added.

"We should not compromise on national security and make all efforts to tell China to refrain from interfering in Indian territory in any manner," Dhumal said.

Stressing that he had committed no wrong, the former chief minister said he is not bothered about enquiries being initiated against him and his government.
