Former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister P K Dhumal and senior BJP leader today called upon party workers not to be complacent and continue to work hard to strengthen the party.
Presiding over a state-level function to honour the booths where the party got more than 80 per cent votes in the Lok sabha elections here today, Dhumal said the workers were the backbone of any party and no party could flourish without their active support and help.
As many as 70 such booths were honoured through their mandal presidents during the function.

A special award was given to the Shimla mandal for taking lead over Congress from Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh's Shimla (Rural) Assembly constituency.
Dhumal said it was highly creditable for the party that it won all the four Lok Sabha seats despite Congress being in power in the state.
Earlier, the party congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and scientists of ISRO for the success of Mars Mission.
The party decided to launch a cleanliness campaign at mandal levels on October 2. It also decided to start a membership drive from November 1 to enroll at least 100 persons in every polling booth.
