Celebrating its 10th year, Dibyendu Barua Chess Academy shall host a special screening of 'Pawn Sacrifice' -- the life and times of eccentric chess genius Bobby Fischer -- tomorrow morning at Inox Quest Mall.
First GM from Kolkata, Dibyendu expects all his senior students spread across three chess academies in the city, Future Hope Chess Academy and Kossipur Kendra Vidyala which has been adopted by DBCA as a chess hub, to attend the unique screening.
"It will give a feel of the fiercely competitive world of chess and the risks and stakes attached to this historic game of chess," DBCA stated in a release.
Barua has also encouraged all students to study the individual games before attending the morning show.
