Left with only a remote chance of making the IPL playoffs after their loss to Kings XI Punjab here, former champions Rajasthan Royals' opener Karun Nair said his team has so far failed to execute its plans well.

Asked how difficult it will be against Mumbai Indians in Mumbai and if it would bring added pressure on the team now, 22-year-old said, "We didn't execute it (the plan) well, but we will try to execute well in our next game"

Title-holders Mumbai Indians will take on Rajasthan Royals, the former champions, in Mumbai tomorrow in what would be a virtual knock-out game to make the final four of IPL.

Rajasthan have 14 points in their kitty and had they sealed a win against KXIP yesterday they would have sailed through. Chasing 180 for victory, the Royals managed 163/8 in their alloted 20 overs, with Nair contributing just 11 runs.

Despite their task ahead being tough, Nair exuded confidence that they will pull off a win in the upcoming game.

"...We were not looking at it that way, we were trying to win our remaining games. I think we just have to go out there and win (against Mumbai)."

"The wicket was good, but we didn't get partnerships in the middle and we lost wickets quickly," Nair said.
