"The confusion was later cleared after it was found that the mistake had occurred at Attari railway station," a CID official said here.
The 462-member delegation had entered India and reached Attari railway station on May 21, from where they left for Delhi, the official said.
"The clerical mistake occurred at Attari railway station where 463 tickets, instead of 462, were counted for the delegation and the information was forwarded to authorities concerned," he said.
The difference came to light when the delegation arrived here yesterday from Delhi.
"I sought details from both Attari and Delhi railway stations today and checked every single name to clear the confusion. It was a clerical mistake and none is missing," the official said.
The head of the delegation had also told the authorities that none of them was missing as they were 462 members, not 463, since the beginning of their journey.
The followers will offer a 'chadar' at the dargah on behalf of the Pakistan government and are scheduled to leave the city next week.
