Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee President V M Sudheeran today said differences of opinion on issues among leaders are natural but that should not affect functioning of the party and government.
"Certain differences of opinion would be sorted out quickly and in some other cases it would take time," Sudheeran said at a function organised here to celebrate the 130th foundation day of Congress party.
"The differences of opinion would not adversely affect the party and functioning of the government," he said amid his strong reservation over the changes brought out by the Congress led-UDF government of Chief Minister Oommen Chandy on the liquor policy.

He said there is no difficulty for him and Chandy and Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala to work unitedly for setting aside the differences.
Referring to the recent Janapaksha Yatra held by him from Kasargod to Thiruvananthapuram, he said Chandy inaugurated the Yatra and Chennithala participated in the Yatra very actively.
Sudheeran said KPCC and the government coordination committee would meet soon to sort out differences of opinion.
There were attempts to blow up the differences within the party, he said.
"Everybody in the party should work unitedly. The UDF could again return to power if all in the party work together," he said.
