The delegation from Proyash School at Dhaka, comprising five children, principal and support staff, were here for three days, he said.

"The three boys and two girls, who were here between February 15 and 17, visited Army-run ASHA School for Special Children and interacted with the children and staff there," the official said.

The Bangladeshi delegation also visited the Institute of Cerebral Palsy, Vocational Rehabilitation Centre for Handicapped, Victoria Memorial, Science City and Alipore Zoo in the city.

Earlier, five differently abled children along with faculty and support staff from India had visited Bangladesh.

"The exchange programmes are aimed at sharing best practices in the development of special children," the official added.
