The redeveloped buildings of MHADA and the civic body here would be brought on a single digital platform by linking documents to Aadhaar so that information on their sale and purchase could be had and infiltration into them could be stopped, chief minister Devendra Fadnavis told the Assembly today.

He said that currently no information was available regarding the sale of redeveloped buildings of the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) as well as the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation.

"Therefore, the government plans to bring all these buildings on one single digital platform so that exact information regarding them and to whom they are transferred can be made available here. All information will be available at one point and that will effectively check any infiltration attempt," Fandavis said in response to a query by Shiv Sena MLA Sunil Shinde.

In reply to a supplementary query, Minister of State for Urban Development, Ranjit Patil, said a survey would be conducted by the BMC and security guards appointed to check infiltration attempts into its vacant buildings.
