"The intention of Ramdev is to finish the democratic system of the country and establish dictatorship. If they want to change the system, they should either contest the polls or field those who they consider are good," Singh told reporters at his ancestral Raghogarh town.
"They don't like the democratic system and are therefore attacking it," he remarked, adding he had been highlighting the "black deeds" of Ramdev for long.
The Congress leader asked Ramdev to reveal how much money he had spent on purchasing 100 acres of land in Sehore district of Madhya Pradesh and how much amount he had shown in the registry papers for that land.
"This will reveal his honesty," he said.
He also alleged that Enforcement Directorate had served a notice on Ramdev in connection with selling of medicines worth Rs 100 crore in foreign countries while in an another case, the Sales Tax Department served a notice on him for Rs 70 crore.
Singh also alleged that Ramdev has encroached on farmers' land in Uttarakhand. MORE PTI COR MAS ABC ALM
