Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh today expressed grief over the passing away of party veteran and former Madhya Pradesh Minister B R Yadav.
The veteran Congressman, who had served under the Cabinet led by Digvijay, passed away yesterday in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh.
Yadav was a dedicated and highly popular leader who had made rich contributions in the development of his constituency (Bilaspur), the former Chief Minister said.
Former Leader of Opposition in Madhya Pradesh Assembly Ajay Singh also condoled Yadav's death.
Yadav as Cabinet Minister held prominent portfolios in the Congress Governments headed by Arjun Singh, Motilal Vora and Digvijay in erstwhile Madhya Pradesh.
