Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh took a dig at BJP leaders' absence on account of ill health from the Goa conclave wishing them a long life.

"I would be happy if the BJP is sick but I do not want anything to happen to its leaders who should live up to a 100 years," he told reporters here.

Singh said that although Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi talks a lot about 'swarajya', he has hired a foreign company for his public relations at a huge cost.

He also said that Maharashtra was the state where maximum investment had been made and it was not Gujarat where the Congress had not been in power since 1985.

The Congress General Secretary said that the BJP rule in Madhya Pradesh has completed nine years but even the announcements made in the first year have not been implemented.

Singh said he had asked the government to tell him about the status of announcements made by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and he was told that no information was available on them.
