Dikshit, who visited the Mandi House construction site along the corridor, discussed the progress of the work with top officials of Delhi Metro, including DMRC Chairman Mangu Singh.
Singh explained the technology and methods adopted by the new-age transport system in developing the network in the city.
Lauding DMRC's efforts, Dikshit said, "This is a lovely team. The work done by Metro officials has helped catapult Delhi to the global platform in the transport sector."
On the inconvenience faced by the public due to the construction, she said that it has been instructed that normal life should not be disrupted by the construction
