The 89-year-old veteran took to his Twitter account to congratulate Aamir.
"Dear Aamir, you deserve all the compliments you are getting for the TV show. Brilliant. We are proud of you," he posted.
The veteran actor also took this opportunity to assure fans about his health.
"By the grace of God, my health is good. I am doing well," Dilip Kumar posted.
Aamir's show has become a rage across the nation, since its first episode on female foeticide aired on May 6.
