Dip in temp brings more chill in air

Though the city has been experiencing chill for the past few days, the plummeted maximum and minimum temperature brought in more chill as Sun gave way to the Moon.

While the maximum recorded a 3 degree dip to settle at 26.9, the minimum temperature was recorded at 13.8 degree Celsius, which is one degree below normal.

There was no rains in the past 24 hours in the capital, the MeT office said.

Humidity in the city was recorded between 94 per cent to 45 per cent.

The city has been witnessing smog and chill weather for the past few days in indications of an early arrival of the winter.
