India's national champion and top seeded Dipika Pallikal has moved a step closer to bagging a title after storming into the final with a convincing 11-4 11-4 11-2 win over Egyptian Nouran El Torky in the Victoria Open squash event, a PSA Tour fixture here today.
In the final on Sunday, Dipika will take on England's Millie Tomlinson.
However, in the men's section both the Indians -- third seeded Harinder Pal Sandhu and eighth seeded Kush Kumar -- went out in the semi-finals, losing to higher ranked players.
Top seeded Joe Lee of England accounted for Harinder, winning 11-8 11-4 12-10 while second seeded Rex Hedrick of Australia defeated Kush Kumar 11-5 11-7 11-5.
