A luxury car bearing diplomatic registration number was involved in a minor accident at Aruna Asaf Ali Marg in New Delhi today.
Police said that though a case was registered, the driver of the diplomatic car, an Audi, was let off as it was associated with a consulate.
No one was injured in the incident, which happened around 3 pm when the diplomatic vehicle was going towards diplomatic enclave. The Audi hit the other car, a Honda Civic, while trying to overtake, and sped away.
Anuj Gupta, who was driving the Honda Civic followed him and intercepted the Audi. The two got into an argument over the issue and Gupta informed police. After registering a case, police let off the driver of the diplomatic car.
