Direct bus starts between western Nepal town and Delhi

A direct deluxe bus service from Dang city in western Nepal to New Delhi was launched today by a bus entrepreneurs committee here.

The new bus service is an initiative of the Rapti Zonal Public Transport Bus Entrepreneurs Committee. People living in western Nepal can now visit the Indian capital city directly from Bhalubang of Dang.

According to Committee Chairman Suresh Hamal this was for the first time that a direct deluxe bus service has been operated between the two South Asian cities.

He said that the first bus left from Dang for New Delhi at 11:30 am (local time). Every week three buses would leave Dang for New Delhi.
 

The one way fare for the journey is Nepalese Rs 2,000 which is equivalent to Rs 1,250.
