This would be Rao's first film to hit theatres in the US on November 14, after he debuted as director with film 'Tata Manavadu' in 1972.

Lead actor of the film, Vishnu Manchu, who will be seen opposite actress Catherine Tresa, said that film is a perfect family drama.

"It will keep you enthralled right through and is an absolute audience magnet. It's a special moment for me too," Manchu said, whose distribution company, 24 Frames Factory will release the film in the overseas market.

"We have packed 'Erra Bus' with light-heartedness, positivity, drama and humour, all rolled into one," he added.

In his career spanning over four decades, Rao has directed 150 films, produced 53 and worked in more than 250 films as a dialogue writer and lyricist.

With 'Erra Bus', he returns to the celluloid not only as a director but also as an actor after keeping away from the limelight.
