Director Rohit Dhawan today said his upcoming film "Dishoom" harps back to the genre of movies like "Main Khiladi Tu Anari".
Starring John Abraham and Varun Dhawan, "Dishoom" has some high-octane stylised action sequences.
"There is no parallel with Bond films (James Bond films). It is actually like a buddy-cop film. It harps back to genre of 'Main Khiladi Tu Anari', 'Andar Bahar', 'Bad Boys'. The film is based in this world," Rohit told reporters here at the wrap up shoot of "Dishoom".

Rohit said the film does not have much slapstick comedy.
"There is not too much slapstick comedy in the film. There is humour in the film. There is a light hearted humour in the film backed by action," Rohit said.
There were reports that a song in the film reminds one of megastar Amitabh Bachchan's "Jumma Chumma De De".
"No. We have all the songs done by Pritam," Rohit added.
The "Desi Boyz" helmer says it was due to producer Sajid Nadiadwala's faith and belief that "Dishoom" has happened.
The film, also starring Jacqueline Fernandez, opens up in theatres on July 29.
