A 35-year-old man was killed in a clash over a trivial issue in Tikiriya Buzurg village under Kunda Kotwali police station area here today, the police said.
The deceased Mohammad Rehan had an altercation with his neighbour after his (the former's) hen was found dead this afternoon, ASP (west) Basant Lal said.
The altercation snowballed and Rehan suffered serious injuries when he was allegedly attacked by some persons with 'laathis' and was rushed to a nearby hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead, the ASP said.
ASP Lal said that a case has been filed against four persons and investigations are on.
