Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje today announced that each district collector will have an untied fund of Rs 50 lakh for developmental works in the state.
On the second day of Collectors and SPs Conference here, Raje approved a budget proposal of Rs 600 crore for missing link roads' construction and Rs 800 crore for Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) works in the state.
Referring to her campaign "sarkar apke dwar" in Bikaner, Udaipur and Bharatpur divisions, Raje said there were public grievances on which immediate funds were required, and to meet this the untied fund of Rs 50 lakh has been granted to every collector in 33 districts.
Now the collectors would approve such works for development of the respective district, she said.
