: A five member District level Media Certification and Monitoring Committee (DMCMC) has been formed by the Election Department for the November 19 by election from Nellithope constituency to Puducherry Assembly.
The committee is headed by District Election Officer and includes Deputy Collector (Revenue-North), News Editor of AIR Puducherry and a senior journalist, a release said.
The Assistant Director of Information and Publicity of Puducherry government is the member Secretary.
The Committee has been formed in agreement with the circular received from Election Commission of India, it said.
