According to one of the woman's relatives, her husband and his family members used to beat her regularly, which might have driven her to take the step.
The deceased has been identified as Tarabai, City Kotwali police station in-charge Chatrpal Singh Parihar said, adding that she had two daughters and a son.
Bodies of two children have been recovered, while the woman and her third child are yet to be traced.
A case has been registered in this regard and further probe is on.
