"Disturbed" over the death of IAS officer D K Ravi in Karnataka, the IAS officers association today said it was awaiting inputs to decide on action in this regard.
"We are very much disturbed by the death of the young officer. He was a bright star and a shining star. It is really unfortunate that his life has come to such a tragic end. We are waiting for the inputs.
"At the moment, we don't have all the facts. As and when we get the fact about the case, we will call a meeting of the central committee and then we will decide on it," association's secretary and senior IAS officer Sanjay R Bhoosreddy said.

"Even in young age, we used to face problem of mining mafia in Uttar Pradesh and other areas. But now they (officers) have started raising their heads and they have gathered the guts to challenge the authority.
"We have seen the cases of IAS and IPS officers being physically harmed in Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. Now they are bold enough," Bhoosreddy said.
Ravi, a 2009 batch IAS officer, who had taken on the sand mafia in Karnataka was found dead in mysterious circumstances yesterday at his residence in Bengaluru.
