DM Abhishek Prakash yesterday formed a committee comprising Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Adhar Kishore Mishra, PWD executive engineer DS Yadav, district treasury officer Rajesh Pandey and Lakhimpur tehsildar Girish Chandra Jha for this purpose, officials said.
The committee has been asked to probe the alleged irregularities and submit their report within a week.
The probe was ordered after complaints flooded his office regarding violation of construction norms by the contractors and alleged misuse of funds, officials said.
