DMK leader Durai Murugan hospitalised

Senior DMK leader Durai Murugan was today briefly hospitalised after he complained of giddiness just before he was to take a flight at the airport here.

"It was to due to a fall in his blood pressure. He was admitted to a private hospital. He is okay now," DMK spokesperson and Rajya Sabha MP T K S Elangovan said.

Durai Murugan was scheduled to take a flight to Tiruchirappalli to go to Aravakkurichi constituency for campaign work.

"I am ok now. I have been discharged. I have come home," the DMK leader said.

The 78-year-old leader was engaged in hectic campaign for three Assembly constituencies in Tamil Nadu, where polls will be held on November 19.
