DMK member J Anbazhagan was today evicted from the Tamil Nadu Assembly for interrupting Chief Minister O Panneerselvam while he was addressing the House.

Speaker P Dhanapal ordered the House Marshals to evict Anbazhagan who was on his feet demanding to know something from the chair which was lost in the din even as Panneerselvam was addressing the House.

Immediately, other DMK members, including M K Stalin and Duraimurugan, were on their feet showing solidarity with their member.

Leader of the House, Natham Viswanathan said there should be no interruption while Chief Minister was addressing the House.

"During your (DMK) regime, did you allow interruption while the then Chief Minister M Karunanidhi was addressing the House?" he asked.

"This is not the tradition. While the Chief Minister is speaking you cannot interrupt.
