DMK's Stalin greets Kovind

DMK Working President M K Stalin today greeted President-elect Ramnath Kovind on his big win and expressed confidence that the latter would be firm in guarding values like pluralism.

"I wholeheartedly believe that he would be firm in guarding values like pluralism and uphold the Constitution," he said.

He said he was extending the greetings on behalf of his party and its chief M Karunanidhi.

DMK, an ally of the Congress, voted for Kovin'd opponent Meira Kumar in the July 17 Presidential polls.
