DMRC signs MoU with Delhi Tech University

Aiming at introducing an affordable and sustainable technology to provide international standard service, DMRC today signed an agreement with Delhi Technological University (DTU).

Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and DTU will jointly take up projects for design development, research and indigenisation of technology in the field of Metro Railway engineering.

"Initially, the MoU has been signed with DTU's Electrical and Electronics, Computer and Communication Engineering departments. However, the ambit of the understanding may be expanded further to other departments in the years to come," an official statement said here.

DMRC and DTU will work together in projects related to design, analysis, development, forecasting, investigation, system integration, embedded systems and other software and hardware based solutions, it said.
 

The MoU was signed by DMRC Director (Electrical) Satish Kumar and DTU Vice Chancellor P B Sharma.
