The DNA test report of the alleged child swapping case at the state-run Kamla Nehru Hospital here on the night of May 26 has been submitted to the High Court here today.

The DNA test of complainant couple, Anil Kumar and Sheetal and the DNA of other couple have been submitted to the High Court, sources in State Forensic laboratory said.

Since the matter is pending in the High Court, the DNA reports were submitted to Court today and High Court today made Jitender Thakur and Anjani Thakur (another couple) as respondent in the matter and also issued notice to the newly arrayed respondents for tomorrow.

The state has also filed status report in this matter.

Division Bench comprising the Chief Justice Mansoor Ahmad Mir and Justice Sandeep Sharma passed these orders on a petition filled by Sheetal.

The petitioner has alleged that she gave birth to a child on May 26, 2016 and immediately after the birth the petitioner was informed by the nurse that she was blessed with a baby boy.

But after 20-25 minutes, a baby girl was handed over to her.

The Couple was apprehensive that their baby had been changed but the hospital completely ruled out any such possibility and they got their DNA test conducted on their own.

The case would be heard tomorrow.
