Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said that Jharkhand has enormous potential to become the number one state in the country and batted for politics of development instead of politics of caste to take the state forward.
"The need of the hour is to leave politics of caste, politics of backward-forward and politics of we and you, and do only politics of development ...To put India, Jharkhand and Hazaribagh on the path of development," he said here at an election meeting for the third phase of polling scheduled on December 9.
Jharkhand, he said, was not an ordinary state and has enormous potential to become number one in the country.
