A doctor of a primary health centre in West Bengal's Alipurduar district has been arrested along with another person hailing from neighbouring Assam, following recovery of cartridges from his official quarter.
Prasenjit Ray, doctor of the Rangalibajna primary health centre was arrested last night following recovery of ten cartridges from his quarter, District Superintendent of Police Anup Jaiswal said today.
People from Assam were frequently visiting Ray and one of them has also been arrested in this connection, Jaiswal said.
He is being interrogated and will be produced in the court later in the day, he said.
