A doctor was allegedly shot dead at his clinic by two unidentified men in Shamli district, police said today.
The incident took place last evening when Devender Kumar was at his clinic in Taprana village following which the two miscreants shot him dead, Station House Officer R K Sharma said.
Police rushed to the spot and began a search operation. The body has been sent for post-mortem, he said.
An old enmity was stated as the reason behind the murder, he said, adding that no arrest has been made so far.
