A doctor in a government hospital here was today attacked with a knife by an unidentified person.
The doctor, Vimal Kumar Singh (56), was getting out of his car after parking it in the premises of Ursula district hospital this morning, when an unidentified person attacked him with a knife, police said.
After attacking the doctor, who received injuries on his hand, the attacker fled from the spot.
Agitated over the incident, the doctors in the hospital demanded more security for them.
