Actress Tilda Swinton, who played Anciet One in "Doctor Strange", says she would love to reprise her role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for a prequel to the movie.

Swilton, 55, says she has been pestering Kevin Feige to make a prequel, reported Aceshowbiz.

"I'm pretty confidently dropping hints in Kevin Feige's ear about a prequel, I'm constantly harassing him about that. I don't know if it'll get anywhere," she said in an interview.

Ancient One was originally a male character in the comic books. Swinton's casting was met with controversy, but it's not because of the gender-bending role. Instead, Marvel was accused of whitewashing the character, who was supposedly an Asian descent.

In response, Swinton said, "The Ancient One in this film was never written as the bearded old Tibetan man portrayed in the comics."

It's unclear if Swinton will be brought back for another Marvel movie after her debut in "Doctor Stranger", but both the main actor Benedict Cumberbatch and co-star Benedict Wong have confirmed their return for "Avengers: Infinity War".
