Doctors, paramedics thrashed by police in Kadikadal

A team of doctors and paramedics were allegedly thrashed by policemen today for not being in possession of curfew passes, official sources said.

The doctors and paramedics were on their way to Gousia Hospital in the Khanyar area of the city when the ambulance they were travelling in was stopped by the cops at Kadikadal in the Valley.

The doctors and other passengers on board the vehicle were allegedly thrashed by the cops for not possessing necessary curfew passes.

A police spokesman said the allegations are being probed.
