The documentary based on research done by the community on a joint project by Mysore-based Ashodaya Samiti and Manitoba University in Canada and deals with lives of MSM in Mysore, Belgaum and Bellary districts of Karnataka was released by the state Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda .
The documentary documents the conflict and celebrations of MSM and transgender including their fight against stigma and discrimination.
Ashodaya Samiti is a sex workers collective of female and male and also transgender. It is also a global learning centre recognised by the United Nations system, The World Bank and National AIDS Control Organisation in India through its Ashodaya Academy working across India.
Gowda lauded senior journalists Maya Jaideep and Kestur Vasuki for producing the documentary and termed it as an "excellent work".
