As many as 472 private unaided schools which were found to be charging extra fee have been asked by the Directorate of Education to return the excess amount within the next 15 days.
A committee headed by Justice Anil Dev Singh had identified the schools to be overcharging parents on the pretext of implementing recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission while not doing the same.
The panel was constituted last year following the Delhi High Court's order and has so far submitted eight interim reports to be implemented by the principals of schools.
