The mortal remains of Congress
leader and former Punjab minister Ramesh Chander Dogra were consigned to flames with full state honours here today.
Family members, friends and a number of Congress leaders attended the cremation of Dogra, who died in a hospital here yesterday at the age of 75.
Dogra, a former Deputy Speaker of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha, held portfolios of Health and Family Welfare and Technical Education during the Congress government in the state from 2002-07.
