Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje today directed the power companies to provide 24-hour uninterrupted power supply to domestic customers in the state.
At a high-level meeting with Energy Minister GS Kheenvsar and officials, Raje also issued directions for checking losses during transmission and distribution, mainly due to power theft, according to a spokesman here.
Faulty transformers should be replaced within 72 hours, and customers be provided hassle-free services, she directed.
To maintain the demand and supply ratio, the Chief Minister set up a committee of power generation and distribution companies, according to the spokesman.
