Dominic West to sing in new film 'Pride'

Actor Dominic West is set to sing a musical number in his new film "Pride".

The film focuses on the the gay and lesbian activists who joined protesting pit workers in the walkouts during the 1980s miner strikes, reported Digital Spy.

He said that he will play "a gay guy who sings 'I Will Survive' in front of a group of Welsh mine workers".

The actor, who made his musical debut in 2012, added, "It all began last year with 'My Fair Lady in Sheffield', and now I just can't stop singing."

West recently signed up for a trek to the South Pole with Prince Harry. He will race the British royal in a 208-mile journey in November and December.
 

"I agreed to do a walk to the South Pole with these wounded soldiers in December, so I'm trying to train for that at the moment.
