"Magic Mike XXL" star Andie MacDowell says there is nothing worse than being called a "cougar".
The 57-year-old actress said she finds the word "offensive," saying it perpetuates a double standard about men and women's sexuality and attractiveness as they age, reported Fox news.
"There's this notion that as men get older they become more handsome, so therefore they can have younger women. But there is no reality to that obviously - it's just another way to disempower women," she said.
In "Magic Mike XXL", MacDowell plays a sexually uninhibited Southern woman who takes quite a shine to Channing Tatum's character and his stripper friends.
