The 29-year-old said she doesn't confine herself to listening to or playing only one type of music, and on her new album, 'Blown Away', she wanted to capture some of the bands' huge-sounding bombastic styling, reported Contactmusic.

"I grew up listening to Queen. They were no stranger to throwing in the unexpected and something a little more dramatic. When you look at like, the modern version of that, it's My Chemical Romance - they're one of my favourites.

"On 'Blown Away' there really is something for everybody, it's a big mix of influences. It's heart is in country music, and the rest of it is all over. Every other kind of music," Underwood said. PTI AYM
