Don't share official info with unknown callers: Govt

In the wake of some suspicious calls, the district administration here has directed its employees not to share any information regarding border and other government activities with unknown callers.

In a directive issued recently, Collector N L Meena has asked officials to remain alert and not share any information without verifying the identity of the caller or mobile number.

"The directive was issued following some calls from suspicious callers seeking details regarding border and government activities," Meena said.

Jaisalmer is one of the 4 districts of Rajasthan which shares border with Pakistan.

Sometimes spies posing themselves as officers call the government employees in border areas and seek specific details, he said.
