Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor does not want to be stereotyped and he is looking forward to playing different roles.

"Action has been a part of my films and I hope people are liking it. I don't want to confine (myself) to do one thing. I want to do good films and good roles. It is an exciting time for me as an actor. I am getting to do different roles. My character in 'Aurangzeb' is very different," Arjun told reporters here at the promotional event of 'Aurangzeb'.

"In Ishaqzaade I was beaten up by people...Rarely I got chance to be on the other side. But in Aurangzeb I got to do lot of action," he said.

Arjun insists he is looking to create his own identity as an actor.

"I would want my own identity as an actor. For me the idea is to create your identity and be unique, try to be different and be yourself. I do not plan things," he said.

In 'Aurangzeb', an Aditya Chopra production, Arjun will be seen playing a double role.

"Director and producer showed faith in me, it was a big thing. I was excited as few people get to play double role," he said.

The film, directed by Atul Sabharwal, also stars Rishi Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Prithviraj, Amrita Singh and Sasha Agha. It releases on May 17.
