Veteran actor Donal Sutherland is not happy with the upcoming remake of his 1973 horror film "Don't Look Now".

It was announced in April that StudioCanal was developing an updated version of Nicolas Roeg's 1973 horror classic, starring Sutherland, 80, and Julie Christie as a couple grieving the death of their daughter, reported The Digital Spy.

"Don't embarrass yourselves by participating in it. It's bullshit. It was a piece of work indelibly written by Nicolas Roeg. Why would they do it? It's just people trying to profit off the back of something that's very beautiful. It's shameful. They should be ashamed of themselves," he said.

Sutherland will next be seen in "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2", which hits cinemas this week.
