Congress in West Bengal today said its doors were open for any leader or worker in the Trinamool Congress, as speculation mounted over the future course of action of Mukul Roy, who was considered TMC's second in-command before falling out with Mamata Banerjee.
"Most of those who are in Trinamool Congress are originally from Congress, so if they choose to leave the TMC, then Congress has to be their natural choice," West Bengal Pradesh Congress Committee president Adhir Chowdhury said here.
Without naming Roy, the Congress state chief said that all the TMC people were "in sync with the Congress culturally, politically and ideologically."
