Department of Posts will "very soon" extend its facility of issuing the 'Rs 300 special entry tickets' for darshan at famous Tirupati temple to 2,348 sub-post offices in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, a top official said today.
The facility is available in collaboration with the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD).
"The facility of issuing of TTD Tickets will be extended to 2,348 sub post offices in AP and Telangana very soon," said B V Sudhakar, Chief Postmaster General, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

A pilot project offering TTD's darshan tickets through nine post offices across five districts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana was launched in December last year.
DoP, in association with TTD, has already begun selling tickets through all the 95 head post offices in both states.
"The services of transportation of medicines with postal department through 'LOGISTIC POST' of 'NIRANTARA SEVA' Service in 13 districts of AP started at Guntur today in agreement with AP government," Sudhakar said, adding that introduction of 'NIRANTARA SEVA' scheme in Telangana is under process with the state government.
Referring on the core banking project, which is part of India Post IT Project, 2012, Sudhakar said, "India Post plans to implement core banking project in all Departmental post offices. As on date, core banking service (CBS) has been rolled out in 1,546 post offices covering all the circles across the country."
"So far 82 out of 95 HOs (head offices) have been rolled out to CBS platform in AP circle. It is planned to roll out all the remaining 13 HOs by the end of this month," Sudhakar said.
There are a total of 2,438 SOs (sub-offices) in AP Circle, out of these 2 SOs (Tirumala SO and Adi Kavi Nannaya SO) have already been migrated to CBS platform.
"It is planned to roll out all the remaining SOs by the end of this year," he said.
