The 25-year-old Ivory Coast player got Rs 2 lakh and was also chosen as the club's Plyars' Player award, for which he was rewarded with Rs 1 lakh.
Douhou became the third foreign player and first midfielder to receive Pune FC's highest honour at the third awards function in the club's five-year-old history, last night.
Other senior award winners during the function were midfielder Arata Izumi, wingback Othallo Tabia, leftback Gurjinder Kumar (Goal of the Year award), striker Mandjou Keita, striker Singam Subash Singh and veteran midfielder Shanmugam Venkatesh.
