Nine teams and nearly 90 players will battle it out in the four-day Defence Research and Development Organisation Central Zone badminton tournament, which started here today.
The tournament comprises participants from different DRDO Central Zone establishments like Chandipur, Panagarh, Visakhapattanam and Hyderabad.
The matches will be played at the DRDO Indoor Sporting Complex, Chandipur, where the entire badminton court has been revamped for the event.
Integrated Test Range (ITR), Chandipur, Director Dr B K Das today inagurated the tournament.
